Ullapool is a hop away from Letters and a great place to mooch a few hours away. Ullapool has a lovely range of small independent shops selling everything from clothes to pieces of art, and you can also find outdoor gear, a great deli, a gelato and two incredible bookshops.
Tesco provides all the basics. There are lots of options for eating out, The Ceilidh Place, Cafe Margot, The Arch Inn and the Sea Food Shack are a few of our favourites. The Essence of India is also good and fish and chips on the sea front is a must!
